Mudfish Bach on Kaiteriteri Heights. Simply the best self-contained accommodation.

Absolutely fully self-contained accommodation, Little Kaiteriteri, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and loads of space.

Karen and Michael welcome you to their dream holiday home. The newly built Mudfish Bach at Kaiteriteri Heights.

Two double bedrooms, oodles of space, views to take your breath away and all day sun

Perched atop the hills overlooking Tasman Bay at Kaiteriteri Heights and commanding 360 degree panoramic views.

You can spend hours looking at the lights of Nelson, across to D'Urville Island in the Marlborough Sounds, up the coast to the Abel Tasman National Park, the mountains of Kahurangi National Park and over towards the Rainbow Ski field in the winter, to the snow capped peaks of Nelson Lakes National Park.

Down below is the golden sand of Little Kaiteriteri beach.

Designed by Karen & Michael as the ideal place for their holiday, the Mudfish Bach is ideal for a couple, or two.

All rooms face the sun and have separate French doors opening out onto the sundeck, so you can be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf or be bathed by dawn's first light.

Airy, spacious and plenty of windows. Wherever you are there's a view

The living area is spacious and open plan with the two double bedrooms at opposite corners of the bach. The French doors at either end of the lounge slide away enabling you to wander out to the courtyard barbecue area and still see the magnificent view over Tasman Bay.

The decor and artworks have been carefully selected by Karen & Michael and reflect their taste. All artworks are by local artists including: Steve Fullmer - potter, Jeff Brown - painter, Joanna Ward - painter, Sally Burton - painter, Darryl Frost - ceramic artist, Matthew Leniston - painter.

For the night at home there is plenty of room in the well equipped kitchen for a couple of chefs. Other guests can rest and wait for their dinner out on the deck or catch up with the news on the remote controlled television. Sky is connected and there is a video player too.

The sound system has a CD player so bring your own music to feel even more at home.
